Terms of Service

These terms cover how my services work, including website setup, hosting, and ongoing support.

1. About My Services

I provide web design, development, and hosting for small businesses and independent creators. Each project includes a setup fee and (optionally) an annual hosting and maintenance plan.

2. Payment and Renewals

  • Website builds are charged at a one-time setup fee (typically £500).
  • Hosting, CMS, Email Routing and form handling are billed annually at £100/year, paid upfront.
  • The first year of hosting is free. Renewal starts after 12 months.
  • Non-payment of renewal fees may result in your site being taken offline until payment is made.

3. Ownership and Content

  • You own all content and assets you provide (text, images, logos, etc.).
  • I retain ownership of my custom code, templates, and hosting setup, but you have a full right to use them while your plan is active.
  • You’re responsible for ensuring that your content doesn’t infringe on anyone’s rights or break any laws.

4. Service Uptime and Maintenance

I aim to keep sites online 24/7, with brief maintenance windows only when necessary. While I can’t guarantee 100% uptime, I always act quickly to fix issues and ensure reliability.

5. Cancellation and Termination

You can cancel your renewal any time before your next annual payment. If you cancel, your hosting will remain active until the end of the current paid period. You can export your full site bundle as a ZIP file at any time during your contract, or request it after termination.

6. Liability

I do my best to ensure everything runs smoothly, but I can’t be held responsible for losses resulting from downtime, data loss, or external service failures (like domain or payment providers).
